Tumble
Good Boy
Tumble joined our team in May 2020 as everyone’s best friend. He loves spending his free time chasing his ball, stealing other lab members food and getting belly rubs. Usually you can find him in the office, thinking hard about next big experiment to do.

Shiro
Physicist in Residence
Shiro is a physicist at heart who enjoys performing experiments daily to better understand how gravity functions by pushing things off tables. He has made many “break”-throughs that have revolutionized the field. His human always keeps his contributions to the field in mind before leaving anything that is within his reach unattended. Shiro is also an expert in String Theory, no ball of yarn is safe from his inquisitive mind. When he is not advancing science, Shiro can be found sleeping anywhere, meowing loudly for attention, chasing after the feather wand, and ripping apart cardboard. Shiro joined the lab in 2020.

Mishy
Postdo-cat-oral Fellow
For his PhD, Mishy did pioneering work on sleep cycles. He was so dedicated to his work that he volunteered to be a subject in his own research studies and would sleep 12+ hours a day, all in the name of science. The effects of his research have, unfortunately, been long lasting and he continues to sleep quite a lot. However, his hard work and dedication paid off and he is now considered one of the leading experts in the world on sleep. In the small amount of spare time he has, Mishy enjoys spending quality time cuddling with his human, getting lots of massages…I mean pets, trying new foods such as whatever his human is eating, and sunbathing. He joined the team in 2020.
